Visiting London’s Big Ben

LONDON, ENGLAND

In honor of Independence Day here in the USA, I will start this week off with photos from the next stop on my European tour and the capitol of that country that we defeated, London. This first set of photos is of one of the most iconic images that everyone knows, Big Ben. Big Ben is actually not the name of the tower, it is the Elizabeth Tower and it is not he name of the clock, that is the Great Clock. Unknown to a lot of people, Big Ben is actually the name of the bell at the top of the Elizabeth Tower. Parliament is the building that is often pictured with the tower but was under construction while I was there so most of my pictures with it did not come out. Some of my favorite photos were from the sunset long exposures. I hope you enjoy them.
