Historic Sixth Street Bridge Over the LA River

LOS ANGELES RIVER

I had never been to the sixth street bridge in Downtown Los Angeles or even the LA River for that matter. Having heard a lot of great things about the photography opportunities around there, I jumped at the opportunity to go when an Instagram meetup formed. As with all of the meets that I have attended, the turnout was great and there was a lot of creativity everywhere. People brought masks, bubbles, cars, models, snakes and so much more. As the sun set, the steel wool came out and people were spinning them and capturing long exposures. It was really awesome! However, soon after that began, the police arrived and told everyone that it was time to go. In the end, LAPD was really nice and everyone cooperated. I can’t wait to get back down there and explore the area some more!
