Sundays are for exploring...

SOUTH BAY | LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA

With the Lobster Festival in town, I had to make my way to the Port of LA to see what it was all about. While down there I had a chance to explore the cruise terminal and the surrounding area. I had only been down there at night to take photos, never during the day. I couldn't believe how many restaurants, harbor cruises and shops there were. I ended up having lunch at Boardwalk Cafe and must have gotten there at the perfect time because I was seated right away. By the time I left, they were telling people that there was a 2 hour wait!

I decided that I would take the scenic route back around through Palos Verdes and stop at Trump National Golf Course and Point Vicente to take some pictures. It was a beautiful day, not like Saturday, which was eerie because of the Sand Canyon fires turning the sky into an orange-red mess. I have been to each of these spots many times before, but there is always something new to see. I hope you enjoy the randomness of the photos.
