Visiting Yosemite National Park in Winter
YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK | CALIFORNIA
The next stop on the week-long California tour was Yosemite National Park. I was a little concerned since the roads were subject to closures and restrictions based on the conditions. With the Jeep Wrangler having 4x4 and snow tires, we were able to manage the roads. We visited the Yosemite Valley where we saw El Capitan, Half Dome, and Yosemite Falls. On the walk to the falls, we got an up-close look at a coyote scavenging for food. On the way out of the valley, we stopped at Tunnel Overlook for a beautiful Yosemite sunset.
